Senior Product Designer
I joined Brilliant Basics to help flesh out the new campaign and microsites for Huawei's new flagship phone - Huawei P10. Alongside the flagship campaign, I helped the team impliment design-systems focused concepts for the "P" series throughout Huawei's global website.
Aside from creating a clean editorial aesthetic that would resonate with the target audiences of professional photographers, content creators or savvy hobbyists alike - it was also important to craft a design system in line with atomic design principles, that would balance a diverse range of aesthetics throughout the "P" series product and editorial pages on the global website, allowing the individual campaigns to have their unique components every year, and to be easily replicable. The goal was to add to the brand's consistency, and reduce costs and workload on the in house teams.
With the increasing options on the market, the cognitive load for the user inevitably increases with it. To try and counter that we constructed a bespoke comparison module that allows the consumer to have an in depth comparison with other flagships.

it lives in different ecosystems of accessories
